Bathroom sink left on causing a large flood

Water damage on carpet in master bedroom

This water damage happened when the kiddos left the sink running in their parents bathroom.  The family had left for the day to only return to this mess. 

This customer had already contacted a plumber thinking that a pipe had broke then realized that the faucet was the cause of the water.

The only area that was really affected was the master bedroom and master bathroom.

The customer's called our office and was wanting us out on site quickly.  The technician's were dispatched with in an hour of the call on a Sunday.

SERVPRO certified technicians started the extraction process which usually only takes about 30 minutes. Then the carpet was placed back down on the concrete slab in a flat position. Drying equipment was placed for drying.  The drying will take several days. 

Once dried out then SERVPRO will come back and replace the pad and clean the carpeted areas.
